✨ A Poem of Winter Fire ✨

Crown of the Woods is an original poem written by Rowan Wolfe Moon, a student of Witches’ Hallow, exploring the sacred strength of Tinne, the Holly—guardian of light during the darkest turning of the year.

Through vivid imagery of frost, flame, and thorn, Rowan captures the spirit of the winter king: the protector who stands watch when the green fades and the nights grow long. The poem speaks to courage born in stillness, resilience forged in cold, and the quiet power of holding the flame when others fall silent.

Each line reflects an ancient understanding of balance—fire and frost, spear and hearth, shadow and shield. In honoring Holly as both warrior and guardian, Rowan reminds us that endurance is a sacred act, and that even in winter’s deepest white, life carries its ember forward.

We are honored to share this work as a reflection of the depth, creativity, and reverence our students bring to their studies and their craft.
