Candle magick is a form of spellwork or ritual in which candles are used as a tool to focus intent, channel energy, and bring about desired outcomes. The basic principle behind candle magick is that candles are symbolic of fire, which is thought to have transformative and energetic properties. By using candles in rituals, practitioners believe they can tap into these energies to influence their lives. In my class we will be actually making candles. You will be expected to purchase basic supplies. Please review the list. If you can not procure the necessary items, let the instructor know. No reason to forgo the class as a whole simply because you're unable to make a candle.

Wax (Soy wax, beeswax, paraffin wax, or palm wax.)

Candle Container (Glass jar, metal tin, or any heat-resistant container)

Essential oils (optional, for scent)

Dye (optional, for color, and you can often find wax cubes already colored.)
