The Celts were a group of ancient peoples who shared linguistic, cultural, and religious traits, originating in Central Europe and spreading across much of Europe from around 1200 BCE to the early centuries CE. They were not a single unified empire or nation, but rather a diverse group of tribes connected by language (Celtic languages) and similar customs. In my course we will explore their origins and dive into Celtic modern influences and pop culture.
