This is an introduction to the world of minerals, rocks, crystals, and gemstones. If you can remember back to Junior High School, you may have taken an Earth Science class. The beginning of this introduction will seem like that in a way. I firmly believe that before you start employing these wonders of the Earth and incorporating them into spells, meditations, rituals and so on, you must first learn the basics
If I went in to the seven crystal systems, the hundreds of subfamilies of gemstones, and so on…this class would be like a class at a university and leave your head spinning. I just want to get into some of the basics before you start using them. You’ll also learn a little about identifying those little rocks you find on the side of the road or that shiny stone you picked up in some metaphysical shop. If you choose to take further classes in this series, you will learn about the metaphysical and magickal uses of them while learning different ways of using a stone to enhance and enrich your life. So, sit back, relax, and let’s journey into these marvelous wonders that the Earth has given us!
