Theme: Connecting Earth, Moon, Stars, and Spirit
Month: October 2026 Purpose: To encourage members of Cosmic Celestial Bonds to explore the wonders of the universe, strengthen their connection with nature, discover celestial symbolism, and reflect on their own place in the cosmos.
Activity: Create Your Cosmic Connection Map
Observe the Moon or use a lunar calendar to identify its phase. Draw the Moon as you see it, write down the date, and describe what you notice about its shape and brightness.
Learn about one constellation visible in the October sky, such as Cassiopeia or Pegasus. Draw its star pattern and write one interesting fact about its history or astronomical features.
Collect or sketch three autumn nature objects, such as a fallen leaf, an acorn, or a pinecone. Choose one and describe how it represents change, growth, balance, or the changing seasons.
On a sheet of paper, place the Moon in the center. Surround it with your constellation, nature drawings, and three words that describe your personal connection to the universe. Decorate with stars, autumn colors, and celestial symbols.
Cosmic reflection questions
Ask each member to answer these questions in their own words:
-
What did I discover about the Moon or stars this month?
-
How does observing nature help me feel connected to the world around me?
-
What does the word cosmic connection mean to me?
-
What is one thing I want to learn about the universe next?

Closing affirmation
“Beneath the stars, upon the Earth,
I honor wonder, growth, and rebirth.
The Moon above, the world below,
Through cosmic bonds, I learn and grow.”
